Policies and Information

 

Check-in: Campsites: After 2 pm. Cabins: After 3 pm. Early check-in is NOT available. Check-ins after dark are not permitted.

Check-out: Campsites: by 1 pm.  Cabins: By 11 am.

 

Reservations: All reservations are to be paid in full at time of booking. Rental waiver signer must be 21 years or older. You must cancel/change your reservation 14 days prior to the date coming in to receive a partial refund.  All cancellations will incur a $30 fee. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the date you are coming in there will be NO REFUND and you will forfeit your entire deposit. No refund for shortened stays.

-Please contact the office at 616-399-9230 to make all cancellations and changes. We do not honor cancellations through email.

-For reservations over 29 days any changes or cancellations must be made one month prior to your arrival date. 

-50% of your stay for the Deluxe Modern Cabins is NON-REFUNDABLE. 

-We accept card or cash, checks not accepted.

Rates: All rates shown are starting rates. Prices are subject to dynamic pricing based on occupancy. Actual rates may be higher upon booking. Two adults and two kids are included in the rate (kids 5 and under are free). $10/night per extra person.

Visitors: Day guests are $5 per day and $10 per overnight visitor (children 5 and under are free). Day visitors must exit the resort by 10 pm. All visitors must stop at the office or camp host to register. Vehicle passes are required.

Parking: Please park your vehicle(s) on your site. All vehicles must have a pass - vehicles without a pass will be towed at the owner's expense. Parking is not allowed on unoccupied sites. The parking lot is for if you have an additional vehicle or visitor vehicles you cannot park on your site. We do not guarantee parking in the parking lot. 

Registration: Please complete upon arrival. If you arrive after hours or on Sunday, please come into the office the next day.

Office and store hours: Summer hours are 9a-5p Monday - Thursday. 9a-7p Friday and 9a-6p Saturday. Closed Sunday. Fall and Spring hours vary. Hours can change.

Laundry Room: Open Monday - Saturday 9am - 9pm. Closed Sunday. Please do not put clotheslines or hang laundry outside.

Restrooms and Showers: Open 24/7.

Pool and Hot Tub:  Open Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day. Pool hours are 10 am - 9 pm. No glass, pets or smoking allowed in the pool area.

No running, diving or rough play. Children under 12 years old MUST be accompanied by an adult. No lifeguard on duty - swim at your own risk.

Campsites: Site number can be requested, but not guaranteed (unless you paid the lock fee). Camping in everyday cars, vans, trucks is not allowed - must be an RV with hookups. One camping unit per site. All units must be backed onto site. Tow dollies, extra cargo trailers, etc. must be parked on campsite by your own vehicle. OGR does not have a vehicle to move trailers. Jack pads are required on premium sites. Protective sewer connectors are required. Please keep your site clean at all times and check for forgotten items at check-out. No carpet/mats allowed on the grass. No walking or parking on unoccupied sites.

Cabins: No smoking or pets allowed inside or around the cabins. Rental waiver signer must be 21 years or older. A $100 damage fee may be charged at check-out if management deems necessary for rustic cabins. If you have a pet inside A $400 damage deposit is due at check-in for modern cabins. Check-out time is 11 am - campers must leave resort property by check-out time. Staying to swim etc. is not permitted.

Tent Camping: Sorry, there is NO tent camping allowed.

Alcoholic Beverages and Drugs: We are an alcohol and drug FREE park. If you're looking to party it up this isn't the park for you.

Smoking: No smoking in buildings, pool area or on deck. Please dispose of cigarette ends in the designated containers.

Wi-Fi: We try our best to have reliable Wi-Fi. It is free, but not always guaranteed.

Kids: Parents and guardians are responsible for their children at all times. Kids under 13 must be on their site by 10p. No kids playing under/ around security gates and entrance area.

Dog Policy: $3.00 per day/per dog. Quiet, well-behaved dogs are allowed. Dogs must be leashed at all times except in the dog park. Please clean up after your dog. Dogs are not allowed in any building or pool area. Please do not leave dogs unattended.

Garbage: Place in plastic bags and deposit in the dumpster near the exit.  Break down any boxes. No garbage in firepits.​

Campfires: Premium sites do not have individual firepits (township rule). There are two community firepits. Standard sites have individual firepits. Firewood can be purchased from the office or campground host. Please do not place grills on picnic tables.

RV wash: RV washing is allowed for $5 a time. Car washing is not allowed.

Quiet Time: Please observe our quiet time from 10 pm - 8 am.  Please keep voices and music down. Excessive noise will not be tolerated.

Speed Limit: 5 MPH. Watch for kids. After 2 speed warnings you are subject to be evicted from the resort. All cars, motorcycles, bicycles,

electric/gas scooters & bikes, mopeds etc. must obey 5 MPH limit. No bike riding on deck, sidewalk by pool or anywhere after dark. Recumbent bikes and tricycles must have a flag.

Not Allowed:

-Boat parking on your  site or in the parking lot. You must rent a slip down the road or find somewhere to store it.

-Pleasure riding of golf carts, electric/gas scooters.

-Charging of electric vehicles.

-Fireworks/explosives.

-Hot tubs/saunas on sites.

-Rollerblading.

-​Rates and policies are subject to change at any time.

-Any property damage done by you or your guests will be your responsibility to pay for repairs.

-Oak Grove Resort is not responsible for lost/damaged items including packages sent to the resort. 

-Management reserves the right to evict from the resort  without a refund to anyone destroying property or violating resort policies.
